After two public safety power shutoff events, Trinidad wasn’t ready for a third outage. Trinidad’s Hidden Creek RV park was hit especially hard when the Nov. 26 storm outages hit.
Trinidad resident Ada Crandall and her neighbors were left out in the dark and felt forgotten this Thanksgiving, as the RV park went over three consecutive days without power. Crandall, her daughter and her neighbors came together to provide what each of them had to celebrate this Thanksgiving together.
“None of us, none of us here can afford this,” Hidden Creek resident Ron Adair said. “We’re all on social security, we’re all medical patients, and we all need electricity or at least the knowledge of when it will return.”
